Hey there readers, I'm back with another review. Today I am reviewing "The Espressologist". I really enjoyed this book. Let's get on with the review.

The Plot (Goodreads Summary)

What’s your drink of choice? Is it a small pumpkin spice latte? Then you’re lots of fun and a bit sassy. Or a medium americano? You prefer simplicity in life. Or perhaps it’s a small decaf soy sugar-free hazelnut caffe latte? Some might call you a yuppie. Seventeen-year-old barista Jane Turner has this theory that you can tell a lot about a person by their regular coffee drink. She scribbles it all down in a notebook and calls it Espressology. So it’s not a totally crazy idea when Jane starts hooking up some of her friends based on their coffee orders. Like her best friend, Em, a medium hot chocolate, and Cam, a toffee nut latte. But when her boss, Derek, gets wind of Jane’s Espressology, he makes it an in-store holiday promotion, promising customers their perfect matches for the price of their favorite coffee. Things are going better than Derek could ever have hoped, so why is Jane so freaked out? Does it have anything to do with Em dating Cam? She’s the one who set them up! She should be happy for them, right?

My Opinion

I enjoyed this book. It's been on my TBR for years and I'm glad I finally read it. It was a cute, quick read. This book was very short so it's hard for me to review it, because I don't have much to say about it. I can say that I really liked it, and I read it in one day. I really liked the characters. The main character Jane, was pretty likable. She's a typical teenage girl. She's normal and nice. I liked her best friend Em and all the other characters. The plot was very unique and creative. I thought it was really neat how Jane matched people up by their coffee orders. It was so different and cool. I love matchmaking so that's why I liked this book. Even though the book was short, the pacing was done well. I was never bored and it was just a quick, entertaining read. If your looking for a really quick, cute contemporary book, I highly recommend this one. It's very underrated and more people should read it. I think this book is worth a buy and I give it 5/5 Lily pads. Thanks for reading, bye for now :)
