The Plot (Goodreads summary)
Welcome to a place where dreams are made. And where nothing—and no one—is ever what it seems.
After their make-up and fashion videos went viral on YouTube, sisters Sophia and Ava London are thrust into the exclusive life of the Los Angeles elite. Here fabulous parties, air kisses, paparazzi and hot guys all come with the scene. Sophia finds herself torn between a gorgeous bartender and a millionaire playboy, and Ava starts dating an A-list actor. But as they’re about to discover, the life they’ve always dreamed of comes with a cost.
Beneath the glitter of the Hollywood social scene lies a world of ruthless ambition, vicious gossip…and betrayal. Someone close to them, someone they trust, is working in the shadows to bring the London sisters falling down. And once the betrayal is complete, Sophia and Ava find themselves knee-deep in a scandal that could take away everything they care about, including the one thing that matters most—each other.

My Opinion
I really enjoyed this book. I don't watch Elle and Blair but my sister does and I've seen some of their videos and I like them. My sister read this book years ago and liked it, so I wanted to read it. This book is everything I love in a book. I love books about Hollywood, parties and the whole glamourous life that I could never live, which is why I love those types of books. I'm able to escape from my boring life and read about gorgeous girls who live their lives in L.A. So of course I loved this book! The plot was sort of based on Elle and Blair's lives but, it was also very different. The plot was done well, I loved the writing style. It was very simple and easy to get into. The pacing was also done well, I read this book very quickly. The characters were well-developed. I loved Sophie and Ava, I loved their relationship and how close they were. I can relate to that because I have two sisters and I'm very close to both of them. I loved the drama and I just loved everything about this book. If you love chick-lit books, I recommend this book to you. Contemporary is my favorite genre, so I knew I was going to love this one. If your looking for a fun, simple read that's very quick, I highly recommend this book. Also, this book is very underrated. It doesn't have many ratings on goodreads, so go out there, buy this book and help support Elle and Blair. They are amazing people and amazing writers. I think this book is worth a buy and I'm definitely planning on reading the next book "Where Beauty Lies". Obviously I gave this book 5 Lily Pads. Thank you so much for reading, and stay tuned for my review for "Perfect Chemistry". Happy reading!
