Hey everyone I'm back with a review. Today I am reviewing "Shiver". Now before I start this review, I just want you to know that I was a little hesitant about reading this book. I heard so many mixed reviews about this series, but my sister loves this series so she really wanted me to read it, so I gave it a chance. I ended up really liking this book, and I'm glad I didn't listen to the bad reviews. Anyway, let's get on with the full review.

The Plot

Shiver is about a girl named Grace. At first she was just a regular girl, but then one day she gets attacked by a werewolf. She turns into a werewolf but doesn't actually become one. She stopped herself from turning into one. That day she gets attacked, a male wolf saves her. His name is Sam. The book is basically about Grace living a normal life, and then Sam ends up turning into a human. And then the story goes from there.

My Opinion

I really liked this book. I don't get why this series has such bad reviews. I thought this book was perfect. I loved everything about it. The writing was awesome and simple. The plot for this book was very simplistic but that's why I liked the book. It was easy to read, and it was like contemporary with wolves in it. The biggest reason why I loved this book was the characters. I loved the main characters, they were developed so well. I really liked Grace, she was a good protagonist and I found her relatable at times. I loved that Grace and Sam both love books. I really loved Sam, he was such a good guy and I just loved him. I really loved their relationship. Maggie really knows how to develop characters. The romance was so good, I loved it. It wasn't rushed or insta-love so I thought it was just so perfect. This book was really cute and I just really enjoyed it. I don't know when I'm gonna read the next book "Linger" but I will probably get to it some day.

That's my really short review. I wanted to keep it short because I don't have too much to say about it because I loved it. I think this book is worth a buy. If you like paranormal books about werewolves, I think you should try this one because it's probably the best YA werewolf series out there. Obviously I gave it 5/5 Lily Pads. Thank you so much for reading, have a great day and keep reading! :)
