Favorite Quotes:

"Please, Peter. I know her well and so do you. Well, I did know her well. But I don't think people change at the core. They are who they are."-Page 109

"You need to relax, Lara Jean. Life doesn't have to be so planned. Just roll with it and let it happen."-Page 120

Hey there, I'm back with a review. Today I am reviewing "To All The Boys I've Loved Before". I read Jenny's "Summer I Turned Pretty" Trilogy years ago and loved it, it's one of my favorite series. I knew I had to read this book also since everyone on BookTube raves about it. I was also drawn to this book because the main character is Korean which is awesome because I love Asians. I loved this book and I'm so glad I finally read it. Let's get on to the review.

The Plot-5/5

I loved the plot of this book. I don't understand why everyone describes this book as a mystery because the love letters are sent out. That's not what the main plot is even about, it's just a minor part of the book. The real plot is about  Lara Jean in her Junior year of High School and she pretends to date Peter K. who is one of the popular guys at her school. The fake-dating trope is one of my favorite tropes to read about so when I heard that trope was in it, it made me even more excited to read the book. I had to give the plot a perfect rating.

The Writing-5/5

Jenny Han is one of my favorite authors so I have to give her writing a perfect rating because she's an amazing writer.

The Pacing-5/5

The pacing was absolutely perfect in this book. It was never slow or boring. I was captivated by everything that happened in the book.

The Cover-5/5

I love the cover. I noticed that Jenny's book covers are all white or at least have white on them. This cover perfectly describes the book so I had to give it a perfect rating.

The Characters-5/5

I really liked the characters in this book. Jenny is great at making very likable characters. I loved Lara Jean, she is such a refreshing character. I can relate to her a lot. She's really close to her family and I love that family is the most important thing to her. I love that she's not really outgoing and she's never had a boyfriend because I can relate to that. She has a lot of quiet hobbies and she's very artistic. She also bakes a lot. I don't understand why everyone thinks she's childish, I didn't think she was at all. She's very sweet and kind hearted, I just really liked her as a protagonist.I loved Kitty and Margot too. Kitty is so cute and mischievous and I love Margot even though she can be too serious and judgemental sometimes. I liked her friend Chris, she was nice. Honestly, I'm still not sure how I feel about Peter yet. I didn't love him in the beginning, he was kind of a jerk and selfish but he did grow on me throughout the book. I like him more now but for some reason I don't love him yet. Hopefully I'll like him more in the second book. As for the romance, I liked their relationship but there wasn't enough romance in the book for me to actually have an opinion. It was mostly fake-dating so a lot of it wasn't real. I was a little disappointed in Peter's confession though. He admitted he liked her but it wasn't a big confession like you see in romance books. I guess I'm too much of a hopeless romantic, haha. I really liked Josh, he is a good guy. I've heard great things about John and I can't wait to see him more in the next book. Lara Jean's family were definitely the best part of the book for me, I loved them. I can't wait to read more about the Song girls in the next book.

Enjoyment-5/5

I actually read this book pretty fast, it was a fun, cute book. There were some dark parts of the book but it wasn't a depressing book at all. It was a happy, lighthearted book. I really enjoyed myself while reading it and it was so easy to get lost in the book.

My overall rating is 4.5/5 Lily Pads. I originally gave this book a 5 but I thought it over and decided to give it a lower rating because I really liked this book but I didn't love it. It was a great book though.  I actually buddy read this book with my friend Rachel at https://www.youtube.com/user/Thelittlereadinglamb
We had a great time reading it and she loved it too! We're planning on buddy reading the second book at the end of July so it will be a couple weeks until I read the next book. I'm really excited to see what happens. This book is definitely worth a buy and if you haven't read her Summer trilogy yet what are you waiting for? You need to read it! That's my review. Thanks so much for reading. I'll have another review up soon so stay tuned. Happy reading! :)

Favorite Quotes:

"Elain had always been gentle and sweet-and I had considered it a different sort of strength. A better strength. To look at the hardness of the world and choose, over and over, to love, to be kind. She had been always so full of light."-Page 156

Azriel shrugged. "We-Rhys, Cass, and I-will occasionally remind each other that what we think to be our greatest weakness can sometimes be our biggest strength. And that the most unlikely person can alter the course of history."-Page 309

"We're all broken," Mor said. "In our own ways-in places no one might see". -Page 503

"I believe everything happens for a reason. Whether it is decided by the Mother, or the Cauldron, or some sort of tapestry of Fate, I don't know. I don't really care. But I am grateful for it, whatever it is. Grateful that it brought you all into my life. If it hadn't...I might have become as awful as that prick we're going to face today. Rhys said to Azriel, "If I had not met a shadowsinger, I would not have known that it is the family you make, not the one you are born into, that matters. I would not have known what it is to truly hope, even when the world tells you to despair."-Page 612

Hey guys, I'm finally back! It's been like a month since I last updated. I've been busy but I've also been reading ACOWAR which took me almost three weeks to read. That's why I haven't posted in a couple of weeks. Anyway, I'm back. Today I am reviewing "A Court of Wings and Ruin" by Sarah J. Maas. I absolutely loved this book! This was my most anticipated book of 2017 and it didn't disappoint. This book is also my favorite book of 2017 so far. It was perfection! It was a great conclusion but I'm really sad that it's over. She's writing three more books in the same world so the series isn't completely over yet, I can't wait for the next book in 2018! This trilogy is definitely a favorite of mine. Let's get on to the review.

The Plot-5/5

I gave the plot a perfect rating because this book is my favorite out of the three. I didn't think it could be even better than ACOMAF, but it was. I loved the plot even though not much happened.

The Writing-5/5

Even though Sarah isn't my favorite author, I still love her writing. So I had to give it a perfect rating.

The Pacing-5/5

I've read a lot of reviews and many people thought this book was slow. I'll admit that the book felt very long, it's 700 pages, but I was never bored. I loved every single page of this book so I didn't have a problem with the pacing. I usually love slow-paced books so that's why it didn't bother me.

The Cover-5/5

I absolutely love the cover! Green is one of my favorite colors so I had to give it a perfect rating.

The World-5/5

I just love this amazing world that Sarah created. It is just so beautiful and magical. I'm so sad that I had to leave this world, but I'll be back next year when the fourth book comes out. It's definitely one of the best worlds that I've ever read in a Fantasy series. It's just so unique.

The Characters-5/5

The Characters are the reason why I love this series so much. This series seriously has the best characters I've ever read, well besides Cassandra Clare's books. Even though there are only three books, I grew so attached to the characters. Rhy's squad is just so amazing. I love Feyre and Rhys, they are my OTP, they are the best book couple ever! Azriel, Mor, and Amren are so awesome and Cassian is one of my favorite characters in this series. I just love him so much. Lucien grew on me. I wasn't really a fan of him in the first two books but I ended up loving him in this book. Tamlin is Tamlin, I was never a fan of him even in the first book. I just couldn't get attached to him for some reason. After finishing this book I sort of have mixed feelings about him. He can be mean at times but he does have a nice side, he just doesn't show it very often. I did gain some respect for him at the end of the book. I love Feyre's sisters, Nesta and Elain. I always loved Elain, she's so sweet and lovable. I really didn't like Nesta in the first book but she eventually grew on me and I loved her in this book. The character development was amazing in this series, these guys are like friends to me, they also feel like family to me. I love them so much!

Enjoyment-5/5

Even though it took me over two weeks to read this book, I still enjoyed myself while reading it. This series is so fun to read. There's so much witty banter and this book made me laugh at times.

My overall rating is 5/5 Lily Pads. This was such an amazing series, and I'm so sad it's over. I hope I can revisit my friends in the future. This was such a perfect book and just like with ACOMAF, it's one of the best books I've ever read. This series will stick with me for a long time and I can't wait to reread it someday. I wanna reread the series right now. Like I said before I can't wait for the future books she writes in this world. ACOWAR was a great conclusion and I can't wait to see where this series goes next. If you haven't read this series yet, what are you doing? Go pick up ACOTAR right now! You won't regret it. If you love Fantasy books with amazing characters definitely read these books. These books are so worth a buy. Anyway, that was my review. I'm sorry this review was up so late. Thank you so much for reading this review. I'll have more posts coming soon so stay tuned. Have a great day and happy reading! :)
