Hey guys I'm back. I haven't posted in weeks. The reason why I haven't been posting is because I've been reading this huge, amazing book. Okay it wasn't that long, it took me a week to read. But it was so amazing and perfect!
I'm not going to put the plot description here because I don't wanna spoil the first book for everyone.
Guys, this book was so incredible! I loved the first book, but this one was ten times better! I can't really say why I loved it so much. If you read the book, you'll understand.
First of all, I loved the writing in this book. I really love Sarah's writing style. I have to say, the dialogue was definitely the best part of this book. It was so awesome! I loved the banter between Feyre and all the characters. There were times when I laughed and times where it made my heart stop and swoon with pleasure. After reading ACOTAR I was so excited to read this one because I've heard so many amazing things about it. I was not disappointed at all. I loved this book so much! It is now one of my favorite books and it's definitely my favorite book of the year so far. This book is so big and it took me a long time to read it, but I loved every page and every moment in this book.
I really enjoyed the plot for this book. I felt so bad for Feyre. The pacing was so amazing, I was never bored. Yes this book was huge, but it never dragged to me.
Finally, I wanna talk about the characters. They are the main reason why this book was the best book I've read in months. First let's talk about Feyre. I love Feyre so much! I loved her in the first book and I loved her even more in this book. She's such an amazing, and strong protagonist. I loved her because she's very family-oriented. She loves her family and her sisters even though they aren't very nice to her. I just love her because most of the time, she see's the good in everyone, that's really hard to do most of the time. She's so sweet and humble, but she's also very kick butt too. She can be witty at times and I love that about her. Feyre is just amazing.
I didn't like Tamlin at all in this book. He was so mean and different. I was never a huge fan of him in the first book, but I really started to dislike him in this book. I have mixed feelings about Lucien. I'm not a huge fan of him like most people are. I don't know if he's good or bad.
Now I wanna talk about the amazing squad of the Night Court. First of all, I love the high lord of the Night Court, Rhysand. In the first book, I wasn't a fan of him. I thought he was mean and creepy. My opinion of him totally changed in this book. He is now officially on my Book Boyfriend's list. I love him so much! In the book we get his whole back story. I love him because he's such a good guy. In the first book he's portrayed as evil, but he's not. He is truly a good person and I love that his real personality comes out in ACOMAF. He is just the nicest guy. I love that he really wants to protect his people and his kingdom. I absolutely loved the romance between him and Feyre. It was such a slow burn romance, it was so well developed. I love that they became friends first and really took the time to get to know each other. Their relationship is just the best thing ever, it gives me life. They are now officially my OTP. When I found out they are mates, I was so happy! They are so perfect for each other. They both had bad pasts and were both neglected and abused. They are a lot alike. They just have so much chemistry, I just love them together. I also loved the squad. I loved Azriel, Cassian, Amren and Mor. I loved them, they are so nice and so cool. I love that they accepted Feyre in their group and they help her. They are the coolest squad ever, I wish I was friends with them. :)
The ending made me sad, but I can understand why she ended it that way. I can't wait for the next book, I need it now! I can't wait to find out what happens. That was my review. Thank you so much for reading! Stay tuned for a review for the third book, after I read it. I can't believe I have to wait until May. Stay tuned for more coming soon. If you haven't read this book yet, you need to. It is one of the best books I've ever read. This book is definitely worth a buy and I give this book a thousand Lily Pads. Bye :)
