Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by
J.K Rowling(Harry Potter series #4)

5/5 Lily Pads

No Spoilers!

Would I recommend it? OF COURSE, IT'S HARRY POTTER!

Hey guys, I'm back again. Today I am reviewing "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" by J.K Rowling. Oh my gosh, this book was amazing! This is my new favorite book in the series, they get better and better. If you guys don't already know, this is my first time reading the series, and I am so obsessed! Just ask my sister, she'll tell you how obsessed I am, lol! I don't know what I've been doing with my life, how did I go 19 years without reading Harry Potter. I really regret it but I'm so glad I gave this series a chance. Let's get on with this review.

I'm not going to describe the plot for this book, because I'm sure there's people out there, who haven't read this series.

My Opinion

Like I said before, this book was just so amazing and mind blowing! Prisoner of Azkaban was my favorite before I read this book but now Goblet of Fire is my new favorite. This book was so good! It's very big but I was never bored and I love all the events that happened in this book, it was so fun and entertaining to read. This book actually took me months to read, because it was so good, I didn't want it to end. I limited myself and made myself read only one chapter a day which was torture, but I really wanted to read it slowly and enjoy it. There's not much I can say, but if you've read this book/series, you'll understand  why I loved it so much. I can't talk about much without spoiling the book and all my reviews are spoiler free. Just know, that I loved this book so much! I have to say, I the movie disappointed me. I watch the movies right after I read each book, so I watched the movie. I was disappointed because a lot of my favorite parts from the book, weren't in the movie. I understand why, the book is so big, you can't put everything in the movie. I still liked the movie, but I liked the first three movies better. Anyway, this book was so incredible and I highly recommend it. I recommend everyone to read this series because you won't regret it. I'll push you to read this series until you do :) I can't wait to read the next book.  This book is worth a buy, I actually got the new scholastic box set for my birthday. That was the best birthday present I've ever gotten, thanks mom! Thanks so much for reading. Stay tuned for a video review on my channel. I'll see you guys next time, if you haven't already, go read this series now! Bye :)

Flawless by Sara Shepard(Pretty Little Liars #2)

5/5 Lily Pads

No Spoilers!

Would I recommend it? Yes

Hey everyone, I'm back with another review. I am reviewing "Flawless" by Sara Shepard. This is book 2 in the "Pretty Little Liars" series. I'm participating in the "PLL" read-along. Every month we read one book in the series and this was the book for February. Let's get on with the review!

I'm not going to put the plot description here because it will spoil you and my reviews are spoiler free. If you wanna know what the first book is about, check out my review on my blog.

My Opinion

I really enjoyed this book. This book was so much better than the first one. I liked the first one, but this one was so good. There was so much mystery. It was so good I didn't want to put it down. I read this book in 2 days, which is fast for me. That's how good it was. I liked the characters more in this book and I enjoyed reading their stories. Of course there was a cliffhanger at the end, just like the first book. I love Sara's writing, it's so simple but she knows how to pull you in. I will be reading the next book this month for the read-along. I can't wait to read it. If you read the first one and thought it was just okay, I recommend for you to read the second one because it's so much better. Overall, this book was so addicting and I loved it. That's my review. I think this book is worth a buy. Stay tuned for a review on my channel. Bye :) Thanks for reading.

Book Review: Talon

Talon by Julie Kagawa(Talon series #1)

Hardcover Edition-Bought

5/5 Lily Pads

No Spoilers!

Would I recommend it? Yes!

Hey everyone, I'm back. I haven't updated my blog since last month. I'm really behind on my videos and written reviews, but I am back with a review. Today I am reviewing "Talon" by Julie Kagawa. This is the first book in her new series. I don't know how many books there will be. The second book "Rogue" comes out in April and I really want to read it. Anyway, let's get on with the review :)

The Plot(goodreads description)

Long ago, dragons were hunted to near extinction by the Order of St. George, a legendary society of dragon slayers. Hiding in human form and growing their numbers in secret, the dragons of Talon have become strong and cunning, and they're positioned to take over the world with humans none the wiser.

Ember and Dante Hill are the only sister and brother known to dragonkind. Trained to infiltrate society, Ember wants to live the teen experience and enjoy a summer of freedom before taking her destined place in Talon. But destiny is a matter of perspective, and a rogue dragon will soon challenge everything Ember has been taught. As Ember struggles to accept her future, she and her brother are hunted by the Order of St. George.

Soldier Garret Xavier Sebastian has a mission to seek and destroy all dragons, and Talon's newest recruits in particular. But he cannot kill unless he is certain he has found his prey: and nothing is certain about Ember Hill. Faced with Ember's bravery, confidence and all-too-human desires, Garret begins to question everything that the Order has ingrained in him: and what he might be willing to give up to find the truth about dragons

This book is about a teenage girl named Ember. She is a dragon, and so is her twin brother, Dante. Ember and Dante are in this organization called "Talon". They train and learn to fight. The book starts with them traveling to their Aunt and Uncle's house. They have to stay there near the beach and try to "fit in" with everyone else because there are people out there who are trying to find them and kill them. Ember and Dante cannot show their dragon side. They have to be humans the whole time. So they do their best to try and fit in when something happens. There is a guy named Garett. Garett is a soldier and his job to kill dragons. His people believe that dragons are evil because they kill humans.  This all changes when he goes to the where Ember and Dante are. He senses dragons there and tries to find them. He ends up meeting Ember and suspects that she is a dragon. Later he realizes its getting harder for him to kill dragons. Ember ends up meeting Garett and becoming  close to him. She also meets this guy named Riley who is also a dragon. He tries to convince Ember to join his tribe called "Rogue". They are the rebels who try to escape from the cruel society. Ember ends up questioning her life when she lands a position she doesn't want. What will happen? Will Ember choose to join the rebels? Will she choose Garett or Riley?

My Opinion

I really loved this book. It was so unique. I never read a book where the main character is a dragon. This book was one of my most anticipated books of 2014 and I'm so glad I read it. I feel this book is very underrated. I don't see many people talk about this book. I loved every moment of this book.
The Characters- I loved all the characters. Ember was a great protagonist.  She's your typical strong main character but I really liked her. I really liked her brother Dante too. Even though they didn't agree a lot, I liked their relationship. I'm a twin myself, so I understand the bond. I really liked Garett. He was a good guy but I also liked Riley too. I think there might be a love triangle in the future books. If there is, that will be hard for me because I like both guys.
The Plot- I really love the plot for this book. I thought it was cool and unique. It's sort of like Dystopian books where there are two sides and the main character realizes society isn't as perfect as people think it is. I just thought the whole dragon society was unique. I love dragons.
The Writing- I really love Julie's writing. I thought the writing was well done, I was never bored and the pacing was perfect.

I have no idea what genre this book is. It feels like contemporary mixed with Dystopia and Fantasy.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book. I give it 5/5 Lily Pads. This book is actually pretty big, but it didn't take me long to read. I really wanna read Julie's "Iron Fey" series. If you love books about dragons, I would really recommend this book. I would recommend this book to anyone because it's underrated and I feel more people should read it. That was my review, thanks for reading. I will have a video review on my channel soon so stay tuned for more. I think this book is worth a buy so you should go buy this book now! Bye :)
