No Spoilers!!

Hey guys, I'm back with a real review. I recently just posted a review for "Emerald Green" but it wasn't a full review like I usually do. But here is a real one now. Anyway today I am reviewing "Losing It". This book has been on my TBR for years, way before I knew New Adult was even a genre. I was in the mood to finally read this book and I'm so glad I picked it up. I absolutely loved this book! It was amazing and I read it very quickly. Let's get on with the review.

The Plot(Goodreads Summary)

Sick of being the only virgin among her friends, Bliss Edwards decides the best way to deal with the problem is to lose it as quickly and simply as possible - a one-night stand. But her plan turns out to be anything but simple when she freaks out and leaves a gorgeous guy alone and naked in her bed with an excuse that no one with half-a-brain would ever believe. And as if that weren't embarrassing enough, when she arrives for her first class of her last college semester, she recognizes her new theater professor. She'd left him naked in her bed about 8 hours earlier.

My Opinion

First of all I have to say that this was the perfect book to get me out of my reading slump. I fell into a reading slump while I was reading "Emerald Green". I decided to pick this book up because I really wanted to read it and I thought a small book would get me out of my slump, and I was totally right.

I really like Cora's writing style. It was very easy to read, I flew through this book in about three days which is fast for me.

I really love the plot for this book.  I love the student-teacher trope, it's just fun to read about. That's what this book is about. When I first read the description years ago, the book sounded really interesting to me.

Last but not least let's talk about the characters. First of all, I really liked the main protagonist, Bliss. She was a nice, normal girl. She wasn't sure what she wanted to do after she graduated college and I feel most people can understand that. I just liked her character, she was a good person. I liked her best friends, Kelsey and Cade. Kelsey was nice but she could be controlling at times, but I didn't mind that because she had good intentions. I really liked Cade, he was a great guy and I felt bad for him. If you read the book you'll know what I mean. The last character I wanna discuss is Garrick. I really loved him. He was an awesome guy. He was very nice and sweet. I liked that he was really nice to all of his students. He was a great teacher. The romance was great, I didn't think it was insta-love at all. I was rooting for the couple the whole time and I just loved their relationship.  Overall, I loved all of the characters in this book which is why I loved this book.

This book was really good and I loved it! This book got me out of my reading slump and I flew through it in 3 days because it was so short. If you love New Adult books with a great romance and likable characters, I really recommend this book. I can't wait to read the next book "Faking It" because I love her writing and it's about Cade so I can't wait to read his story. I highly recommend this book and it's definitely worth a buy. That's my review. Thank you so much for reading! I'm planning on reading "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" next so stay tuned for a review on it soon. Thanks again and happy reading!!

Update and Emerald Green Review

Hey guys, I'm finally back! It's been a month since I last posted. I've been reading but I've been reading multiple books. I just finished my first book of December. The book I'm talking about is "Emerald Green" by Kerstin Gier. This book took me two weeks to read, which is why I haven't posted a review in a while. I ended up not finishing this book so I'm not going to give it a regular full review like I usually do. I wrote a full review on goodreads but I'm going to post it here so you guys can read it if you don't wanna look at my goodreads page. So here it is.

I'm sorry, I just couldn't finish this book. I just couldn't do it! I had about 60-70 pages left and I'm officially done with this trilogy. This series is just not for me. I completely lost interest in everything, including the plot and the characters. While I was reading this book, my main though was "I don't care". The reason why I gave this book 3 Lily Pads is because the first half and the beginning was pretty good. Just like with "Sapphire Blue" I got bored and lost interest in the second half of the book. However, I was able to finish Sapphire Blue which is why I gave that one 4 Lily Pads.
I really loved the first book but the trilogy definitely went downhill for me. I didn't love Sapphire Blue and this one was just so boring. This book just dragged for me and I didn't care what happened at all. I also started to not like the characters anymore. I used to like Gwen but this book made me not care for her anymore. I'm not really upset that she cried a lot over Gideon, she felt bland in this book and I thought she was sort of shallow at times. Just so you know, I never liked Gideon. I know in my review for the first book I said I liked him but I didn't. He wasn't a jerk in this book, he was actually quite nice but I still didn't care for him. Honestly, their relationship is the main problem I had with this trilogy. I just couldn't stand the insta-love! It bothered me since book one. They only knew each other for a week in the first book and by the end of the book they were kissing. It annoyed me more in the last two books because Gideon was so hot and cold to Gwen and she got so upset over him. It really annoyed me that she fell for him so easily and so fast. He kept hurting her and all she would do was cry and couldn't stop thinking about him. I just don't understand why she loves him. And Gideon apparently loved her the whole time. They've only known each other for two weeks and their in love! It just drove me so crazy. I was just annoyed at Gwen in this book. I honestly wasn't supporting them together at all, I didn't even ship them! Overall, I have very mixed feelings about this trilogy. It's too bad since I loved Ruby Red and the series went downhill. This book was just very boring. I'm glad I'm finally done with this trilogy. This book took me two weeks to read and I was never motivated to pick it up. Even though I don't care for the books, I actually love the movies. The movies are so much better in my opinion. I'm definitely going to watch the movie for Emerald Green soon and hopefully I'll like it better than the book. Anyway that's my long review. Thank you so much for reading and stay tuned for more.
