Last night I finished reading "Shadowland" by Alyson Noel. This is the third book in the "Immortals" series. There are six books in the series. This book took me a while to read but not because it was bad. Out of all three books I read, I think I like the second book "Blue Moon" the best. This book was good but was a little slow at times. I'm not going to tell you the plot because I don't want to spoil anything. I thought the writing was good and kept me interested. I liked the characters and in this book I started to like Haven more. Like other people said in their reviews, Ever still continues to make bad decisions and she doesn't mature yet. I thought she was a likable character. There is sort of a love triangle in this book but it wasn't part of the whole book. I liked the guy Jude but I still like Damen. The only thing that annoyed me was, in all the books the author says the same phrase over and over. I got sick of her writing "I press my lips together". At first I didn't mind it but by the third book it got really annoying. This was a good book but I'm not sure I will be reading the last three books, maybe in the future. I want to read the series based on Ever's sister Riley. I will be reading other books from Alyson Noel. Sorry this review isn't longer, I don't have much to say about this book. I give this book 4 stars out of 5! I recommend this series but it's not my favorite paranormal series out there. Oh, and for all the people that say this series is just like Twilight, you are wrong! It's not like Twilight, and Twilight is a good series! I'm sick of people saying how awful Twilight is. Anyway this book was good.
Right now I am currently reading "Ella Enchanted". I borrowed the book and the audiobook from the library and I am reading them together. There will be a review soon so stay tuned for more!

Book Review: Blue Moon
Some Spoilers!
Today I finished reading "Blue Moon" by Alyson Noel. This is the second book in her "Immortals" series. I found out there are six books in the series but I only have the first three. I will be reading the next one soon. This book did not disappoint me. I really liked it. I enjoyed it more than the first book. I usually don't like sequels as much as the first book but this one was so much better. Here's my review!
The Plot:
I don't really want to spoil it for others but this is a sequel so I have to put some spoilers.
Ever has decided to become an immortal. Now she has more powers and she can go back in time. She still regrets the accident and wishes she were dead. Once again there is more trouble. Now there is a new boy named Roman at her school. Of course everyone loves the new guy except for Ever. She seems something in him and doesn't like it. She thinks he's evil. She doesn't trust him and her friends seem to like him. Soon the new guy causes trouble for Ever. He turns the whole school against her and causes her boyfriend Damen to get sick. Throughout the book Ever tries to save Damen and get people to like her again but it doesn't work. At school she keeps getting picked on. Will Ever be able to have the people she loves the most? You have to read the book to find out.
The Characters:
I thought the characters were okay. I really like Ever. I feel so bad for the girl. She has gone through so much and nothing is ever easy for her. She lost her family, and the whole school is against her, even her best friends hate her. She can be strong but she is depressed throughout the book. I don't blame her. I think she was likable and cared about the people she loves.
I hated Stacia the snob but that's the point right?
Roman, I hated him since the very beginning. I knew he was bad not just because Ever didn't like him. I noticed everything was fine until he came to the school, so he started the trouble.
I like her friend Miles but I always hated Haven. I don't know why but she bothers me. She is mean to Ever and is not a good friend. She shouldn't have been in the books.
I like her love interest Damen. I felt bad for him because Roman wanted to kill him. Roman also changed him and made him hate Ever(like Peeta in Mockingjay). It wasn't his fault so I don't hate him.
Ava, was mean to go against Ever. She took Roman's side. I liked all the other characters. I was sad that Ever's sister Riley wasn't in this book much.
Likes- The plot was good and was better than the first book. It wasn't predictable at all.
Dislikes-There were some errors and grammar mistakes. Like I said some of the characters weren't likable to me.
This book was really good but wasn't my favorite book. I give Alyson Noel credit for writing a different genre than her other books. She is a good author and I give this book 4 stars! If you read "Evermore" I recommend to read this book because it is better. If you read the first one and didn't like it, still read this one. The series is worst checking out but isn't my favorite.
Quote from the book" You can't just skip to the end of the book without reading the middle."

This or That Book Tag!
Hey there! Today I am posting a new book tag. I found this tag while watching a booktube video on the channel-iLoveBooks28. The channel is run by a girl named Amanda and she makes videos about books. I watch tons of different booktubers and I am glad I stumbled upon her channel. I recommend for you to watch her videos. Anyway, she did a book tag and inspired me to do one myself. So, here it is!!
1) Audio or book in hand?
My answer now is both. If this was last year I would've said book in hand, because I love to read regular books, but now I'm starting to get into audiobooks. I haven't read an audiobook yet, but I read a sample. I am planning on reading one soon from my library.
2) Soft or hardcover?
My answer is both again! On my shelf I have mostly paperbacks, but I also like reading hardcover books too. I think I like paperback better, because they are lighter to read. Hardcovers are heavy. The only bad thing about paperbacks is they get damaged easily.
3) Fiction or non-fiction?
Hmm. I mostly prefer fiction because fiction takes me away from my life, but sometimes I will read a non-fiction book. My non-fiction books are about dogs so it's interesting to me. I depends on what non-fiction books I like to read.
4) Fantasy world or real life issues?
Both! I own both types. I mostly enjoy fantasy to get out of my life. I like reading books about real life issues, but I think books about real life aren't as interesting or enjoyable as fantasy. Books are supposed to take you away from your life and that's what fantasy does. I also like real life books because it can help you and make you stronger, if you've ever experienced a problem in a book. It makes you appreciate life for what it is. I say both! By the way, an example of real life books are all books by Sarah Dessen. She writes realistic fiction and I like her books.
5) Harry Potter or Twilight?
That's easy! Definitely Twilight. Most people may disagree with me but I don't like Harry Potter. I never read the books and I don't think I ever will. I saw some of the movies and wasn't interested. I think Twilight is better. I'm not a huge fan of Twilight. I only read the first book and saw the first movie and I thought it was okay.
6) Kindle, ipad or others?
Kindle! I have a kindle. I have the 3rd generation or you can call it the kindle keyboard. I love my kindle and I get tons of free books on it. I haven't been using it that much, because I have lots of books that I haven't read yet in my room. I don't have an ipad.
7) Borrow or buy?
Both! I buy most of my books but I always borrow books from my library. My library has a lot of YA and adult books, so I borrow any chance I can. I buy my books from Barnes and Noble, Amazon or my library used bookstore.
8) Bookstore or buy online?
I mostly buy from the bookstore, but I don't have a bookstore close to me. I mostly buy books from my library used bookstore because the books are very cheap. I don't really buy online that much, well I haven't been.
9) Tell me one time, or total trilogy?
Tell me one time. I mostly prefer stand alones but I also love series. I usually buy the first book in a series and if I like it I will buy the rest of the series.
10) Monster read or short and sweet?
I like both but I mostly like short and sweet books. A lot of times if I read a huge book, I get stressed out because of the size.
11) Starry eyed romance or full of action?
For me, a book has to have some romance in it. I've been in love with romance books lately so I'm gonna say, I like starry eyed romance. I do like books full of action but I prefer romance books. I like books that have action with some romance in it too! I am a hopeless romantic so that's why I chose starry eyed romance.
12) Curl up in your snuggie or bathe in the sun?
I'm not sure. Probably curl up in your snuggie.( I don't even have a snuggie, lol)
13) Hot chocolate or latte?
Definitely hot chocolate. I don't like coffee unless it's a caramel iced coffee. I like hot chocolate better.
14) Read the review or decide for yourself?
Both! I always read reviews before I read a book, but if a book has a bad review, I don't let that stop me. Just because someone didn't like the book doesn't mean that I'm going to hate it. We all have different tastes in books. After I finish a book I decide for myself and write my own reviews.
Okay guys, that's it for the book tag! This tag was fun to do and I'm glad I found it! Thank you so much for reading and if you want you can respond in the comments and tell me what you think and your answers for each question. I also want to thank Amanda for making a video of the tag. I wasn't tagged to do it, but I wanted to do it for fun. Check out her channel on Youtube- iLoveBooks28.
Thanks for reading this and I will update soon so bye!( Check out my review for Evermore please. I'd appreciate it!)

Book Review : Evermore
Somewhat Spoilers!
Yesterday I just finished reading "Evermore" by Alyson Noel. This is the first book in the immortal series. There are six books but I only have the first three. So I gave this book 4 stars on goodreads. I thought this book was great, but not amazing. I love the author. I read "Cruel Summer" by Alyson Noel and loved it. Don't get me wrong, this book was good, but I've read better paranormal books.
Here is the plot:
After a horrible accident claims the lives of her family, sixteen-year-old Ever Bloom can see people's auras, hear their thoughts, and know someone's entire life story by touching them. Going out of her way to avoid human contact to suppress her abilities, she has been branded a freak at her new high school-but everything changes when she meets Damen Auguste.
This book is about a girl named Ever Bloom. Her family were in a car driving to buy a sweatshirt Ever really wanted. On the road there was a deer that hit the car and Ever's dad turned the wheel and car away from the deer taking his family's life with him, except for Ever. Ever is the only family member who survived the car accident. After the accident she gained a power, she can read people's minds by touching them. She can also see the ghost of her twelve-year-old sister Riley. Now she is not a normal girl. Ever since the accident, her life changed. Before the accident, Ever was a happy popular cheerleader. Now she is an orphan and lives with her Aunt in her mansion. Her Aunt gave her everything she could ever want, but Ever wishes she died in the accident. Ever thinks it was her fault her family died. Later she finds out the truth. Now she lives with her Aunt and goes to a new school. She changes her personality and wears hoodies and baggy clothes and listens to her ipod in class all day at school. She misses her family more than ever. Her life changes once a boy named Damen comes into her life. He is a tall, mysterious guy that everyone thinks is attractive. Ever's two friends, her goth friend Haven and her gay friend Miles both love Damen. Ever tries not to look at him because she's afraid she could read his mind. It turns out Damen is the only person that Ever can't read. Later in the book, there is an evil villain but I don't want to spoil anything.
The characters- I thought the characters were okay. They were likable. The main character Ever was a nice, strong character. She had some problems near the end, but she got through it. Damen was a pretty good guy, but he made some mistakes with Ever. Haven wasn't my favorite character. At times I thought she was kind of mean. I liked Miles. He was a cool guy and a good friend to Ever. This is the first book I've read where a guy and a girl are friends and they don't have feelings for each other. Finally! It's realistic. I have a guy friend and we never had feelings for each other. I really liked Riley, I felt so bad that she died, and she was awesome. I loved the relationship between Riley and Ever. They could be mean to each other, but you could tell they loved each other. I actually liked Ever and Damen's relationship. I thought their relationship wasn't rushed at all. I liked how the author waited until the end of the book, for Damen and Ever to declare their love for each other.
This book was very good and I can't think of anything bad about it. It wasn't my favorite book, but I enjoyed it. I read reviews for this book and people compared this book to Twilight. Honestly, this book is not like Twilight. They are both good books. I give this book 4 stars and recommend the series. I will be reading the next book, "Blue Moon" soon. That's it for right now and stayed tuned for more, bye!
